Design & Interior

Den Bosch is nationally known as one of the best cities for boutique shopping. This is our favorites list for fashion, interior and concept stores.

Even if you do not want to buy anything, Mister Design is worth your time. Mister Design is a walhalla for modern design, located in a 2000m2 former Ford garage from 1932, showcasing modern Scandinavian furniture and Danish icons. For concept store hunters go to OAK and AAF Concept Store or visit the Social Label Lab at the Tramkade, who sell products that stand for social responsibility and timeless design.

Culinary Shops

In this Burgundian city there is of course an overload on culinary shops, whereas Banketbakkerij Jan de Groot is the cities hero because of it’s famous “Bossche Bol”: a chocolate pastry filled with whipped cream, also sold in our restaurant & bar.  Any sweet tooth must try it. Furthermore, Den Bosch offers several amazing ice cream locations, such as De IJsvogel which has been selling ice creams already for 87 years. If you love sorbets, then you must go to Gelateria Davide, which follow their family recipe for years.  Can’t get enough of candy? Discover the authentic candy store Tumtum Snoeperij with more than 400 types of sweets.
