If you have already tried the tasty dishes of our Restaurant & Bar The Den, start your food tour in our beloved Burgundian city. First stop: BUURT, our nearby friends across the bridge. This might be the best terrace spot you can find! Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. Great quality of food and always served with a smile. For cool interior and Italian inspired food go to De Garage. Local favorites are Nom Nom and Eetbar DIT: socials vibrant spots open from early morning to late in the evening. You'll find the towns best burgers at BAR35, if you prefer plant based dishes you should definitely visit Noemme. Go out and play at Barkade, an adult arcade and club which serves with Asian street food.
Culinary Dining
Den Bosch is the ideal destination for culinary evenings. One of our best recommendations – and also by guides such as Michelin & Lekker - is located behind our hotel: Pollevie. Restaurant Pollevie offers a modern and contemporary kitchen and they are incredibly good in preparing vegetables and vegan dishes (but serve fish and meat too). If you are looking for a real hidden gem, book your table at Restaurant Faran. A small restaurant for a grandeur fine-dining experience offering a set menu inspired by the Nikkei-kitchen. If you can get a spot, you will not be disappointed. The new must-visit in town is Barbu who give a modern view on the classical French kitchen, preparing a changing menu every few weeks. Barbu is located in a charismatic building on the Vugtherstraat with a charming inner garden. At DISCH you can experience sincere hospitality, what we call “Bossche gastvrijheid”. DISCH provides high quality typical dishes and a good variety of wines. If you want to go for more traditional, we suggest to spend your evening at restaurant Fabuleux. Beautiful fine-dining dishes are served in classic décor with white linen tables and surrounded by stunning art.

In need for a coffee break while visiting the old city? Definitely visit DRAB coffeebar, where they serve you the best cup of joy. This is the perfect hangout for great coffee with a small breakfast or brownie. If you love a good glass of wine, do not miss out on Wijn bij Stijn. Wijn bij Stijn a stylish wine bar in the city center offering a lovely selection of wines, genuine service, and tasty snack platters. In Den Bosch we love a glass of beer. Visit De Jongens van de Wit, a city brewery, bar and restaurant behind the hotel, run by father & sons. Meet the locals at ‘t Pantoffeltje, a known and authentic concept in ‘s-Hertogenbosch for over 50 years located in the vibrant Korte Putstraat.
